Beta or something like that...

Surprisingly, I've made significant progress on the project and plan to launch the first beta on 28th February, 2025.

The combat script is still under development—features like PvE biolabs, boss fights, and commanders aren’t implemented as originally planned. However, the core "build and conquer" mechanics are running smoothly with a decent response time.

Current core state of the game:

  • General resource and query processing is operational.
  • Resource management (mines), infrastructure, fleet, basic alliance, research, and galaxy functionalities are working.
  • The PvP fleet and combat system are functional.
  • Ships can be generated from various tiers and named by players.
  • Survey (planet size and bonus resource check) and colonization features are working.
  • Spy scanning is active.
  • Planets can be extended via terraforming.
  • Randomly spawning asteroid fields for collection and expansion are in place.
  • A defense drone system is available.
  • The marketplace for trading offers is active.

Planned and missing features:

  • Interplanetary rockets to disable bunkers (currently a bit broken)
  • Government control (playtype settings)
  • PvE spawning boss mode
  • Vacation mode

The game currently runs at only 6-9KB per full request. even less with async payloads and with response times of around 60–120ms in Central Europe, which looks pretty ok to me.
